So sorry for you loss. Erna was my cousin. My dad and mom sponsored and brought her over here from Germany and she lived with our family.
We shared a room. She always made me laugh and I would teach her English. She taught me how to crack my gum (everyone hates that) and she could bark like a dog and sing like a bird.
She was a talented seamstress and could sew anything. She adored your father and I remember the little upstairs apartment that I would come to and babysit Hans.
I have many Christmas pictures of your family taken at my mom and dad's house in Roseville. I am living in TX now with my daughter and husband and will not be able to attend but my Niece Debra will be there. I will keep you all in my prayers. Janet

Tholey Family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. My memories of Erna are endless. The coffee we shared, the wine that spilled and the food that we shared will never be erased from my mind. She was a second mother to me, proud to say she was my friend for 42 years. Erna would be the first to say she'd lived a good life. I will miss her.
with much love,
David Naumann

Dear Hans & Jo, your Mom & Dad were such great, strong people, whom I never got to know very well. I'm so sorry the last one is gone. Keep the memories.

I didn't know your mom but my heart goes out to you, Jo Ann and your entire family. May you find peace in your memories of your mom and from God.
