Eva Marie HANSON

Eva Marie Caroline Teresa (Keller) Hanson, age 93 passed away peacefully with family by her side on All Hallows Eve (10/31) at her assisted living facility in Hugo, MN. She was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Larry, her two sisters, Lorraine & Donna & brother, Ken. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Randy (Linda) Hanson & Shari (Steve) Bruns, her grandchildren, Aaron (Ryan), Andria (Dani), Tyler & Shelby, step-grandchildren, Allison & Travis & 5 great-grandchildren, Natalie, Newton, Kevin, Jayli & Availea, along with her surrogate grandchildren Kate, Molly, Andy, Tim & Bill; numerous nieces & nephews. Eva Marie was born in Faribault, MN where she graduated from nursing school. After marrying the love of her life, Larry in 1949 she moved to St. Paul and continued her lifelong nursing career at Miller/United Hospital. Throughout her life she always thought of others, she was a devote Catholic who volunteered throughout her community. For those in need she was always there with an open heart and a ready hand to help. Together with her husband they were honored with numerous awards for their generosity and kindness. When not volunteering or spending time with family, she had many happy adventures traveling the world with her husband. Eva Marie will be remembered by so many people for so many reasons but especially for her beautiful smile that would light up a room. She was immensely loved, will be greatly missed and remain in our hearts forever. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, November 13th at 10 AM at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2055 Bohland Ave, St. Paul. Visitation will be Monday, November 12th from 4-8 PM at O'Halloran & Murphy, 575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul and one hour prior to the service at church.
