To Gloria and the rest of the family I send my deepest sympathy. Having lost 3 brothers of my own I know how devastating this is. I haven't forgotten any of the members of the family even after the many years of being away from Hastings. Prayers and thoughts are sent to all of you

My deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to the family of Gary. I know that as a brother of Lucky and Gloria he must have been a wonderful, gentle person and no doubt with a great sense of humor.

I first knew about Gary through his sister, gloria. Then through his Mom and Dad, Ben & Peg. I then had the pleasure of actually meeting Gary while working in the same department at Malt-O-Meal. I think back through the years of the wonderful jokes he pulled on his family and of the many smiles he had for everyone. His inspirational quotes on the window of his office. His joy of living and laughing, and his love of and joy in his family. He had me in tears when he told me how important it was to be there when the Barbershop Quartet he hired sang to his dear Helen on Valentine's Day. Wearing clown shoes and having a 'stuffed chicken' sing in the background when he left a message on his voice mail at work. His commitment to the recent training he took - I remember his first day back from his first session, when he could barely talk, but was he ever smiling and on a high of "positives." Gary, I have missed you since I left Malt-O-Meal and I miss you even more now. You have been an important and wonderful part of my world, for which I thank you.
