Hardel Harrison SHERRELL

1990 - 2018

On Sunday September 2, 2018, Hardel Harrison Sherrell went home to the Lord. He was born on December 29, 1990 in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Del Shea Perry and Harry Burton Sherrell. Hardel attended North Saint Paul schools and was involved in numerous activities, notably basketball. At a young age, Hardel developed his love of basketball, a passion he shared with his father. His mother's faith nurtured his belief in love and Christ. Hardel proudly and wholeheartedly loved his three daughters, Kaliyah (age 6), Savannah (age 4) and Qetsiyah (age 2), as well as his family and friends. Hardel's charisma, smile, intelligence and sense of humor will forever be ingrained in our memories. Hardel genuinely loved people and could strike up a conversation with anyone, no matter their walk of life. Undoubtedly those conversations would be witty, thoughtful – and at some point his love of basketball, Nike, music, or cooking up fried chicken would be discussed. Most importantly, those conversations brought smiles to people's faces. He never missed the opportunity to make someone smile. Hardel touched so many lives in his short time and will be greatly missed. His memory will live on through all of the stories we share and cherish. Hardel is preceded in death by Grandma and Granddad Perry and his uncles Darryl and Lawrence. Hardel is survived by both his parents, his Grandma and Granddad Taylor, his three beautiful daughters and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A service in celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 8 at Edinbrook Church, 4300 Edinbrook Parkway in Brooklyn Park.
