Anita,
Tom, the kids and I were heartbroken to hear simply by chance today that Harry had passed away. We are so very sorry. He was such a wonderful man, and Hunter always adored him. One of our favorite memories of St Louis Park will always be watching Harry and Hunter mow the lawn together. The kids always loved coming over to see you both. We were so blessed when God gave us the 2 of you as neighbors.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
All our love,
Tracy, Tom, Hunter and Trafton

Uncle Harry was a very proud man. He cared deeply for his family. I know that he will be missed by all who knew him. He made friends where ever he went. For the past 301/2 years he made my Aunt a very happy lady. His riddles and stories will live on with his family. He will be missed at family gatherings.

My great uncle was a very proud but private man who never spoke until recently of his war time (Pear Harbor) bravery. We will miss his humor, his questions, and his riddles at family functions. He also made my great aunt smile and laugh. Together they never missed a grandchild, niece, nephew, great niece or nephew or great, great niece or nephew special event or occasion. He also was my grandfather's best friend- going to the "club" together for years. Uncle Harry, we will miss you - may you debate all those you meet along the way during the next phase of your journey

Uncle Harry, you were always so kind, witty, and had something interesting to say, and I always looked forward to seeing you. I am so very sad that you are not around to tell me riddles and facts about "stuff". Auntie Anita, Joey, Tomoko, Miles, Jimmy, Sarah & all of Harry's relatives and friends, our thoughts are with you. We know his memory is a blessing and wish you comfort in that. Love, Amy, Rick, Maddie, Gracie & Abbie

I cherish all of the time I spent with my great Uncle Harry and the many stories and riddles he told during family gatherings. My cherished moment was hearing him speak at SLP highschool about his time during the war. What a special man Harry was. A kind and gentle soul. Rest in Peace Uncle Harry.

We considered an honor and a privilege to been involved in the care of Harry over the past few years. He was truly an exceptional man with whom our caregivers looked forward to spending time. He was deeply loved and will be truly missed by all of us.
