Idellie Osman Obituary

- Osman, Idellie Schnitzer, age 80. Lovingly cared for at Minnesota Masonic Home, formerly of Mpls., passed away Feb. 17 surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by parents, Bessie & Harry Schnitzer; siblings, Ann & Hy Hymanson, Eve & Joe Ettinger and Max Schnitzer. Survived by beloved husband, Mike; devoted children, Sherri & Wayne Duke of Seattle, Susan Osman of Minnetonka, and and Peni & Steve Gensler of Plymouth; brother-in-law, Al Osman of Florida; sister-in-law, Junie Schnitzer Freedman of FLorida; grandchildren, Marc & Brent Gensler; lifelong friends, Ethel & Len Mayeron; and many nieces, nephews; and friends. Idellie had a passion for life, she loved to travel, dance, garden, and meet people. She was very artistic, and had a gift for making things beautiful. Idellie also had a lifelong romance with her husband of 61 years, Mike. Funeral Services THURSDAY, 1PM, MINNESOTA MASONIC HOME, 11501 Masonic Home Drive, Bloomington. Memorials preferred to donor's favorite charity, or Ettinger, Hymanson Schnitzer Camp FUnd that Idellie started in memory of her sister, Eve, c/o ST. Paul JCC, 1375 ST. Paul Ave., St. Paul 55116.
