Age 76, of South St. Paul
Passed away peacefully on Nov. 20, 2005 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by husband, Michal; daughter and son-in-law, Lilly and David Pomplun; parents; and two sisters. Survived by son, Richard; daughter, Lisa (Curt) Bridges; grandchildren, David, Leslie, Richard, Melissa, Michael and Sammy; brother-in-law, sister-in-law; also nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A survivor of German Labor Camps during WWII, Irene, along with her husband, came to American in 1950 to establish the Ciupik family legacy in the United States. Her constant bantor was her charm and the entire Ciupik family will miss her. Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Wed. at THE CHURCH OF ST. JOHN VIANNEY, 1815 Bromley, SSP. Visitation 5-8PM Tues. (TODAY) at ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 8108 Barbara Ave., IGH; also 9-10AM prior to the service at church. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.

I met Irene when she worked at Old Dutch Foods.we became friends.She was a great lady.I will miss her.Somehow she found out when my birthday was.She never forgot it.She always done for others but did not want anyone helping her!stubborn lady!I have a great collection of crystal thanks to her.Even after she retired she always made sure someone brought me the christmas gift she had bought me.she was a gret friend,I will forever miss her. We will all miss Irene, she was a warm and wonderful lady. The last couple of years have been tough on her. She will always have a place in our hearts and now she will join her husband and daughter Lilly and son-in-law David. May they all rest in peace.

Irene was a good friend and neighbor. We will miss her so much. She made us laugh with her sense of humor and kept our spirits up. She will always be in our hearts and we will never forget her. Irene made the best pickles. We had to beg her for the recipe. She finally gave it to us and now we have something to remember her by.
We pray for Irene's family and friends, I know she will be missed, she had a heart of gold.
