My name is Barb Helmken, daughter of Ray and Marcelle Matkaiti, who were good friends of your folks. I fondly remember visiting your home in, I think, New Brighton. Your mother was a very sweet person and always had a smile. We (sister, Kathy and brother, Chuck) would always sing "Goodnight, Irene" either going to or coming from your house. My mother died coming up to two years ago. She always enjoyed talking with your Mom.

Sincere sympathy and prayers as you mourn Irene. She was a special lady.
God bless you all.

Mom you live on in each of your children and grandchildren.
You will always be with us.
You stayed as long as you could.

I remember many fun times with her, at Disney World, up at Pokegama Lake, and playing "no name" (a fun card game) along with many others. She will be missed very much!
Love you Great Aunt Irene!
