Hi Buddy:
It has been a year now that I lost you and my daughter. A year that has brought much pain, sorrow and tears. And while missing the both of you will never end, we all must move forward.

We dedicated one of the conference rooms here at Travelers to you, with your old flag from your cube that Mike Clasen made a beautiful wood casing and Al had a beautiful plaque to remind us of your military service and you as a man.

Watch over us all and give us guidance.

Missing YOU so very much,

Roger

To the Rosacker Family: I worked with Jim in the insurance industry. He was so wonderful to work with and such a nice person. He spoke of his family with much love and loved to share pictures of his grandchildren. I last saw him at a dinner in February right before I left the insurance industry, and was shocked to learn of his passing when I spoke to past coworkers this week. I am deeply saddened by his loss. Please accept my prayers and condolences.

Dear Jim:
It only seems like yesterday that we lost you. I think of you so often and miss your wonderful sense of humor here at work.

Last Friday, some of us from work went to the Gopher Bar for Coney's in honor and memory of you. While the coney's were delicious as you always loved, it just wasn't the same without you.

Watch over all of us,

Roger Lusk

Dear Jim:
It's been a month today since we lost you and it just isn't the same here in the department without you. We are going to come up with a fun name for our snack area in memory of you. I think you will like it.

Watch over my daughter for me.

To the Rosacker Family:
I worked with Jim here at St.Paul Co's/Travelers for 14 years. He and I were with the Veterans Network. Jim was one of the best guys that I ever had to pleasure of knowing. His sense of humor always kept me laughing and his compassion for others was amazing. I just lost my daughter (who worked with Jim some years back at St.Paul Co's) on June 25th. So in just a short few days I lost two beautiful people. Jim always asked about my daughter during her illness. So I know that she had a pretty good body guard beside her right now.

I will miss Jim very much.
God Bless,
Roger Lusk (Travelers)

Rosacker Family: I was honored when Jim came down to see me in IA. He handled so many banks from Minnesota to Texas, and here I am in little Fairfield, Iowa, with just 2 banks, but he made a special effort to come down and take me to lunch. I still have the golf shirt he brought me. I'll wear it in his honor and with fond fond memories of him.
I not only have the deepest respect for Jim, but I have reverence for him because of his dedication, belief in God and Country, and the ideals our country stands for.

Maureen and family, I had the honor ot work with Jim early in his insurance career at Great American. Jim was a dedicated hard worker, I knew you could count on him to do what he was asked. I also knew his word was his bond. He had so many good traits, he could brighten up a room in an instant with his smile and good sense of humor. I was deeply saddened to read of his passing. You have my deepest sympathy. I just know that Jim is smiling down on you from heaven and will watch over you.

Dear Rosacker Family,

My deepest sympathy goes out to you. I wanted to let you know that I greeted Jim almost everyday at work. Jim always shook my hand everyday whether coming in or leaving for the day. He did it with a true genuine smile. Jim also gave me one of his CSM coins. He was one of the friendliest employees here at the Travelers that I have met. Keep your chins up and always smile at his soul. Feel his spirits vibration run through your spirit, this will be Jim smiling back at you.

Dear Rosacker Family: You have my and my family's deepest sympathy and prayers. It was truly an honor to serve overseas and at home station with Command Sergeant Major Jim Rosacker. CSM Jim always put the needs of soldiers, soldiers' families and his colleagues ahead of his own. He was a class gentleman in every sense and the Army "family" has suffered a great loss with his passing. You should know that CSM Jim's caring but disciplined leadership helped thousands of soldiers and their families over the years. He will be missed forever.

To Jim's family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I met Jim when he worked in the Personal Lines Dept of St. Paul Co.
Whenever I saw him he had a smile on his face and would stop to say hi and ask how I was doing. He was so upbeat. I always had a good feeling after talking with him. Although it's been many years since I worked with him, and more than two years since I retired from Travelers, Jim is one of the people I fondly remember whenever I think of my days at The St. Paul. May God bless and comfort you during this difficult time.

Maureen and Gretchen:My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your husband and father. May God wrap you in his arms and give you strength and peace. Jim frequently spoke of his family with such warmth. His grandchildren were an absolute delight to him. We worked together for several years at St. Paul before the most recent merger and thankfully were able to keep in touch until my recent retirement. The world is missing a first class gentleman and soldier. Our world will not be the same. I will always be thankful Jim entering my life as a friend and co-worker.

I was fortunate to know Jim through my friendship with Gretchen, and for that I’m thankful. I can honestly say that there are very few people that I have met, that could touch so many lives. He was a person who could light up a room with his smile, who could brighten anyone's day just by being a part of it and always made you feel welcome in his home. He will be missed deeply by those whose lives he touched. My thoughts and prayers are with Maureen, Gretchen and their families.

Jim was a kind and generous man, who went out of his way to make all of us feel so special! It is always the little things that we remember and give meaning to our lives. And Jim understood that. After his tour overseas during the Iraq war he brought me back a token of his appreciation that I will forever cherish. Here I wanted to thank him for his patriotism and he unselfishly bestows his love.
No one loved his family and friends more.
I will miss that little smile and that rub on the back. He always made me feel like a million!

They don't come any better than Jim Rosacker. I remember when I first met him, within minutes I felt we had known each other for years. Jim was so kind and concerned about everybody he met. During our work conversations, he was always concerned about how my family and I would be doing, along with the business we needed to address.

My heart goes out to the Rosacker family on the loss of this wonderful man. He will be greatly missed.
