Janet LILLYBLAD Obituary

Passed away at home in Apple Valley surrounded by her family on January 18, 2013, after living her life proudly and resolutely in the face of primary peritoneal cancer. She was a loving wife, beloved mother, and treasured friend to many. Janet was preceded in death by her parents Emil and Berdean Lesar; and son Seth Thomas Lillyblad. She is survived by her husband Stephen; son Scott (Lori); daughters Sara (Joe) Conlin and Suzanne (Eric) Larson; grandsons Edward Joseph Conlin and Stephen Scott Conlin; and sister Mary Ellen Herman. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 26, at 11 a.m., at St. Clement's Episcopal Church, 901 Portland Ave., Saint Paul, MN. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service, with a reception to follow. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Janet's name to a charity of one's choice. She will be greatly missed by family and friends, who she treasured greatly, just as they loved her warmth, hospitality, and sense of humor.

Steve and family,
I knew Janet and her family from the time I was very young living in Grand Haven. She was always of good cheer and I always enjoyed talking to her at our (Class of "59) high school reunions. She told me at the last reunion what a wonderful father you are to your children...may you find peace and always rejoice in her memory.
Sincerely, Jane Radspieler Batte
