Age 57 of Hastings Husband, Father, "Bapa" Jeffrey L. Perrault, age 57, of Hastings, passed away peacefully in his home on August 13, 2014 surrounded by the love of his family. Jeffrey was born January 7, 1957 to Raymond and Colleen (Hubert) Perrault in Duluth, MN. He attended school in Hastings and graduated from Hastings High School in 1975. Jeff was an employee at Navy Island Doors. Jeff most loved being with his wife and children, and especially cherished being "Bapa" to his six beautiful grandchildren. He was passionate about music and loved playing bass guitar. Throughout his life he played in 7 different bands and for the last 15 years with the Mid-Life Cryslers. His enjoyment of music was evident whether he was playing for an audience, at his children's weddings, or in his living room. Besides music, Jeff loved playing golf with family and friends, collecting antiques, spending time out doors on any lake, and creating beautiful pieces of art through wood working. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Perrault. Jeff is survived by his wife Marge of 34 years; three children Emily (Brent) Bavin, Erin (Matthew) Wayne and Elliott (Stephanie) Perrault and his grandchildren Reese, Patrick, Brynn, Luke, Mallory and Annie; mother Colleen Perrault; brother Joseph Perrault; sisters Kathleen (Thomas) Mose, Patricia (Christopher) Fleege and Lynette (Jeffrey) Mayhew; also many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 19, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St, Hastings. Visitation 5-8 PM Monday at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. 7th St, Hastings & 1hr prior to service at church. Burial Lakeside Cemetery. 651-437-9419
