I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of John Degan. A truly wonderful man who helped guide me through my early years in the Television business. I've thought of him often since the mid-seventies as a man with marvelous people skills and a great sense of humor. I will always think of him fondly. He will be missed.

I remember John fondly from my days at KSTP. He was a very smart, fair, and kind man with a terrific sense of humor. The world needs a lot more people like John Degan.
I am very sorry for your loss.

Dear Friend Sandra, We will all miss John so very much. When I think of him I think of his kindness, thoughtfulness and humorous stories. He loved for you and Norma and me to spend time together. We must continue to do that in his memory. He was a wonderful friend--and so are you.

I worked with and for John at KSTP-TV and USSB. When I ran camera in the studio, John was my favorite director. He was always focused, knew what he wanted, and wouldn't accept anything less. When he was my boss, he was reasonable and fair. He always took the time to consider the opposing opinion. We have all lost a very good man.

My deepest sympathies on your loss. I worked with John at KSTP back in 1980's and 1990's. I also came to know him away from work after marrying Julie Kissling and spending time at Long Lake in Centuria. He was a fine man and always kind. On behalf of myself and the Kissling family we will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.
