I hope you like the flags i have put on your grave. I hurt Dad. I love you so much and I miss you terribly. I pray for you every mintue of the day and I go to church and light your candles for you. Dad please I need you so bad. I am so sad here without you. Dad when you took your last breath in my arms I knew that you had waited for me to come and hold you tightly. I am so glad that you waited for me to hold you and tell you just how much I loved you and that Sonny, Jason, Elena and Wardell were also there with you. I LOVE YOU DAD,YOUR THE BEST DAD IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. Love Marie

Dear Abuelito,

Words cannot express the sadness I have felt everyday since your passing. I will never forget the fun we had, the many things you taught me, and the unwavering support you gave me throughout the years. You were my role model while growing up and you always treated me more like a son than grandson, and I hope that I managed to do you proud over the years. Your love, laughter, and jokes will be greatly missed by me, Michelle, Jason, Elena, your "little buddy" Jalen, and baby Elise. I miss you so much, but I will keep on going and taking care of my kids, just like you always took care of me.

With Love, your "Son"

Sonny

Our condolences to your family. John was a great neighbor, and we will always remember our chats over the fence and the mess that our leaves always made in the driveway!

May you all find peace in your memories.

Sincerely, Don and Rob

My sincerest sympathy's go out to the Mercado Family. When I was first hired at 3M I occassionally worked with John & John Kupika and Chuck Steinmaus. John leaves many fine memories of his cleverness, great attitiude and keen sense of humor while we worked many hard hours. I will never forget the taco delivery John would arrange for the construction group every week and the party grew to about 20 workers. At the end of the week, suprisingly we did not tire of each other and would woudl get together for a couple beers. Those were the days.
Again my condolences.

Dear Mercado Family and my dear friend Ann,

We are so sad to hear about John and even sadder that we cannot be with you. We are in Arizona, but all of you and John are in our prayers. He was a great guy, I will always remember seeing him kneeling at Mary's altar. He is with her now.

Ann, you had so many wonderful years with John, and so many memories. May Our Blessed Mother watch over you.

With Love and Prayers

Dear Ann and everybody, I am so sorry for your loss. Johnny had such a great sense of humor--the world is a sadder place without him. I'll miss that little smirk he always had when he was about to make a wisecrack. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong. He wouldn't want us to fuss too much.
Love and prayers, Mary Crosson

Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of John. Unfortunatetly, I'm not able to attend today's services. John was a great man; he had a great heart. He had a beautiful smile, always upbeat. I will always remember him saying to my dad so proudly - of all things - 'welcome to the zipper club' :)

Thank you, John, for being a compadre of my mom and dad's and a great friend to them too!

May God bless you all during your time of mourning and beyond.

I am sending my deepest condolences to John's family. I was privileged to have his granddaughter Nina as a student for two years. It was obvious that she had a wonderful family to support her, I know she was very close to her grandfather. Take solace in the memories of times together. I will keep you all in my prayers.
