To the children of Jack and Barb Powers: I'm very, very sorry for your loss. I was a close friend of Barb's in high school and naturally knew Jack fairly well. They were both fine people and I'm so sorry you lost them so soon. They would have wanted to be part of your lives still.

Jack, you will truly be missed. I will miss the great talks we had about our families when we worked out at Ellite and Halsa. You always had a warm smile and cheerful morning greeting. To your family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your father was a great man and will be missed.

I never knew Jack very well, but he was always up beat. He always said Hi and had a smile for everyone.
It is always a shame when one of the good ones passes away.
I sincerely wish the best to his family.

I am very sorry to hear about your dad, he was a great man and always carried a smile on his face. I am sure he is smiling even bigger now being at home with your mom. Take care both of you. You are both in my thoughts and prayers at this very hard time.

Dear Janeen and Jelayne - I was so sad to hear about your Dad. I have such great memories of both your Mom and Dad, so I am happy they are together again. I can't even imagine the pain you must have at this time and we know time heals, so please take the time you both need to heal. My prayers are with you both and your families. I can still remember crying to your Dad one morning, that I forgot to kiss my Mom goodbye going to Kindergarten, he said run home honey, we'll wait for you. What a gentle loving man. Please take care of yourselves.
Love,
Kathy (Haselman) Carson

Jack, you'll be missed. I know the loss of Barb was devastating for you. It left you with such a large vacumn that you, although you tried, could never close.
Now you and Barb are together again and you have finally found your peace.
GOD BLESS.

I saw Jack as a gentle giant, He wasn't big in phyiscal demension, but he was in how he lived his life. When I saw him I always saw kindness, sincerity, honesty, happiness, and concern for those around him, what troubles he bore never showed. He always acted in a way to put others first and seemed always ready to meet the needs of others. He is with those he loved and loves and will not be forgotten until we see him again.
