I worked for John in the late 80's. I see him described here as an "honorable" man. That is how I think of him.He was a mentor to me,not just in the work I performed , he also was a positive influence in my personal life. Observing him at the dealership you knew he was doing something he really enjoyed.I considered him a friend and will miss stopping by just to tell a few jokes and see him smile.

John was one of the most classiest guys that I ever met and had the privilege to work for.
I learned so much about people from him.
John was that type of guy that would tell you how it was and never lose his composure.
John was not only an excellent businessman but a father and husband as well.I was shocked to hear of his passing be at peace John now is the time to catch all the bluegills you can.

A rare thing to find such an honorable man. I had the opportunity to ski with John, Karen, J.J. and Jennifer at Wild Mtn. and enjoyed buying car after car from him. So sorry to hear of your loss.

Dave and I met John and his children when Dave was an employee at Johns dealership. John was always involved with the employees, encouraging, kind and his smile was contagious. He will be missed. Our prayers are with Karen, Jenni, Chris, Jonathan, Carol and grandchildren. Love and hugs, Dave and Neva Larson.

John and his family lived next store to Deb & me during the early '80s in the Deer Hills addition to North Oaks. I bought a lot of cars over the years from John's dealership. John was a good man. We commiserated about skiing injuries and other events over the years. Deb and I wish Karen, JJ, and Jenny our sincere condolence.

I had the pleasure of working at John's dealership, knowing his family and selling cars in an honest and ethical manner. He would not have it any other way. Great boss and a man who truly loved his family and profession. Rest in peace John, you left too early.
