Hello. Though almost 12 years have passed I am sorry to read of John's passing. I was Google searching for Mary, Linda, and Cindy to say hello and came across his obituary. I remember very well the large family fun and crazy on Randolph. Best always. Bill Baker.

Teenage John with the crows he raised in the Highland neighborhood of St. Paul. He would take off his T-shirt and climb to a treetop nest, collect baby crows in the shirt and carrying them back down, holding the T-shirt in his teeth.

I was so saddened to learn of John's passing. My deepest sympathies to the Tiemann clan and all who were close to him.
One of my best memories of John was a trip to Wyoming in the Tensleep mountains. At a wayside rest, John decided to explore the canyon. We spent the next few hours hiking upsteam over rapids and floating back down. Back at the '68 VW, we put our sopping wet running shoes on the bumpers and drove on to Yellowstone. What a time!

I want to let John's family know how sorry I am for their loss.

I really miss John. Altough, the last few years I haven't seen him a lot. In fact the last time, he didn't even know who I was, but after he found out we had a nice talk.

I spent a lot of time with John in our younger years. We used to fish below the Dam in Melrose and catch lots of sunfish. We also boxed some - well I tried to hit him with the goves and he would just laugh and fall down. His laugh is what I remeber most.

We also spent a lot of good times at Grandpa Tiemann's cabin when we were little and also as teenagers.

I think of John a lot and miss him.

I want to send my love and prayers to all my cousins and I wish there was more I could do to help you.

Love

Thinking of John brings up things like--John and his "crew" of Tom & Paul chasing the girls with all sort of disgusting things at the lake, hunting gear seemed to be the only clothes available and that Tiemann grin that made me think of Dad & Uncle Len. It's been a long few years for the Len Tiemanns I wish you all comfort, love and peace for a long while and hugs to everyone Love & Prayers

Mary, even though I must read the Obits every day, I am hoping I won't recognize a name. I have such fond memories of your house on Randolph and think of you often when driving in the area. I'm sorry for the loss of John. I've looked for you at past reunions and would love to hear about your life. My sympathies to you and your family.

Mary,

I was saddened to hear of your loss. Some of my best memories are of High School at Highland, and John was definitely a big part of them. May you feel God's peace during this time of sorrow.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
