I am so sorry O could not make your funeral John you are so thought of in my heart and I so wanted to talk to your family and tell them how much I felt there grief. You are all in my heart and thoughts and as I read the guest book I think to of minced ham sandwiches and constantly cleaning up with a stick. The laughs and fun was so wonderful it will always fill my heart I can never express how grateful I am to have been part of some of my happy times and I think of all of you all the time please stay in touch it will mean the world to me sending my love and prayers God speed John.

So sorry to hear about the tragic accident, that took Johns life all too soon.
I have so many wonderful memories of John when we all were so young and not a care in the world.
Every time I drive past Grandma Emily's House, I would often think of John and wonder what he was doing now.
I would fondly remember all the fun John, David and I would often have. I recall how we would paint Grandma's plant border rocks white, (every summer) cut her lawn and even clean her chicken coop.
We sure had fun back in those days spending time at your farm near Webster, bailing hay, playing tag, hide & seek and dodge ball in the yard. Was a far simpler time back then…
Then your parents sold the farm and moved to Minnetonka and we lost touch as time marched by.
So many times I wanted to just pick up the phone and call John to see how he was doing, wished I had.
We did see each other over the years from time to time and whenever we did, John always had a hug and a smile for me.
John was a wonderful person, the best cousin in the world and will be missed by everyone that came in contact with him.
May God watch over John, his family and especially his daughter Kally and bring some relief to your hurting hearts.
John, may you rest in peace.

Seems like yesterday John was home sick on the couch and Mary Lou was in the kitchen making fried bologny sandwiches for all who stopped by at lunch time.... God I Miss those days. I miss all of the wonderful times had with the Valek family and know that one day God willing I will see John again. Rest In Peace My Friend.

Dear Dad,
Words cannot possibly explain how much I care about you and how terribly I miss you.
