Of New Brighton Age 80 Died peacefully on September 24th, 2018, due to complications from surgery on August 1st. Preceded in death by his parents Chester and Alice, and his brother C. Kyle Peterson. Survived by best friend and wife of 53 years, Cleo (Stene); son Garth (Jill) and daughter Bethany; grandchildren Finn and Riley. Retired commercial realtor. He and Cleo spent 18 winter seasons at their condo in Colorado enjoying downhill skiing and snowshoeing; also enjoyed golf, hockey, bridge, remodeling houses and woodworking. Memorial and Celebration service 12 PM Thursday, October 4 at REDEEMER LUTHERAN CHURCH, 61 Mississippi Street, Fridley. Visitation at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St @ Co. Rd B.
