With deepest sympathies to those who loved Joe=(. He and Jane were always kind to me when I was little. No surprise I am an active tennis player with some of my first memories being on their court with Jane and Joe playing doubles with my parents. Or even the times when I fell asleep babysitting the kids (I´m sure it was a late night)! He was funny and smart and always there to listen to my stories. May HIS STORY live in our hearts and then he will never be gone. Always there. I can see him on the court. God Bless Joe!!

Jane and family, Jim and I were so sad to hear of Joe´s passing. We always looked forward to seeing both of you when we came to visit my Dad in Boca Grande. Joe welcomed Jim into the Monday night GOAT and that quickly became one of our favorite things in BG. This spring Joe let me be the first female to play GOAT (or so I heard). We will miss his laugh and wit and it won´t be the same without him. Both Jim and I are thinking of you all. Xo

Jane,
My sincere condolences to you and the entire family with Joe´s passing. I recently heard he was very ill. I immediately flashed back to his popcorn wagon, him driving backwards to St Thomas because the car´s transmission only worked in Reverse, and riding in his Lotus Elan. What a good guy! God bless Joe.

The tennis courts at the White Bear Yacht club will be flying the flag at half mast with the passing of Joe ( the lobber) Adrian! I would bet that Joe spent more time on the WBYC courts than any other individual in the last 30 years. I met Joe of course on the tennis courts and we spent many days chasing the green ball around mugging each other and getting mugged by each other. Serious moments were rare but rather our tennis activities were a series of gut wrenching heckling and laughter. Joe left us too early but he will always be fondly remembered by those who knew him. Our condolences to Jane, Allie, Mollie and Laura and the grandchildren of Joe and Jane. Wherever Joe is off to you can be assured he brought along his tennis racquet! Go get em Joe!

Joe was a wonderful man. Always kind, welcoming, interested and fun. Always himself...no pretenses. He enhanced the pleasures of my Boca Grande years, and those of my late husband. He will be missed by many. My heartfelt condolences to Jane and the entire family.

Jan & I express our condolences to Jane and all of the Adrian family. Joe was a tremendously warm, gracious and hilarious guy. He was instrumental in getting me introduced to most of my current friends. Joe will be missed and remembered by all. Joe will always be the GOAT!!! R.I.P. our great friend.
