Joe,
It's only been three weeks since you left me but I miss you so much sometimes I think I can't stand it.
I wish you could come back for just 5 minutes to hug me and say goodbye, but I know that's not possible. I loved you the first time I met you and I will love you forever. Until we meet again.
Your wife, Anita

Everybody,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and feelings here. Joe cherished his family and friends--especially ''his kids'' Mark and Mel and you Jackie--his ''Jackson Brown''. Take care and I love all of you.

I'm gonna Miss you Uncle Joe. You were always there for me & the family.. you were a connector. The glue that held us all together. Christmas will not feel the same without the annual Poker Party with You & Aunt Anita taking all our quarters.. ;-)

I Love You Uncle Joe.
I'm sad you aren't with us anymore but happy your pain is gone.

I was shocked to see that Joe passed away when i read the paper this morning. You have my deepest condolences and are in my prayers. Joe always had a big smile and a friendly hello when we got together at the VFW. He will be missed by many. I felt so honored and proud when he became a life member of Anderson Nelson. There are certain people in life that make you feel good about humanity, and Joe was one of those people. Take care and God Bless you and the family.
