Dear Dick,
Just re-reading all the condolences. Again it is wonderful that her organs were donated. You just don't know how wonderful it is! Our daughter LaVonne received a live kidney donation from her cousin, and she is waiting for an islet transplant or pancreas. She was called by the U a couple weeks ago for a pancreas, but was second in line. The other fellow flew in from out of state and he was a match. So, she is waiting. LaVonne is diabetic. Cancer is a very difficult disease. My sister Benoite's husband, Lawrence Stepka, their daughter Kathleen and their son Larry, Jr. all passed from cancer. Larry, Jr. passed on this August. Very sad. I am sure you will miss your lovely Julie. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
Her Cousin.

Richard - My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I worked with Julie for 10 - we are all still somewhat in a state of shock here at what has happened. We miss Julie greatly and I am sure that sense of loss will only grow as time passes. Julie had a great sense of humor, a wonderful wry smile and all of us in this office knew we could count on her. May God's peace bring comfort to each one.

Some of the best times of my adult life were spent in the company of Julie, Dick and our close group of friends. Julie had the best laugh. She was upbeat, friendly and fun. Whether one-on-one or with our friends, Julie was always great to be with. I'll always remember Menogyn, baseball trips, Toner's, dances, 305 Aurora, ... Julie was the best. My wife Janis and I will miss her terribly.

Dick,
I enjoyed getting to know Julie over the years and working with her. I loved that she was so patient and helpful with my purchasing questions. She was truly unique, funny, and charming with her rich black hair, cute expressions, smile, quick wit and her deep voice, which I just loved. It was always enjoyable to visit with Julie, she really made me smile. I think she was a very special person and I'll always remember her.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in your time of grief. May God comfort you today and in the days ahead. May all the fond memories you have with Julie bring you comfort.

Julie,
It's funny how some of the smallest things can mean so much. It always amazed me how you remembered little things that were important in my life but would seem so insignificant to others. Thank you for making me feel special. Thank you for your smile, your sense of humor, your energy, your compassion for others. Thank you for reminding me that we should cherish the time with our loved ones for we never know when the opportunity will be gone. Thank you for being my friend.
May you rest in peace with your beloved mom and dad. I will miss you, my little Bernese Mountain Dog, but the sound of your laughter will be with me always.

I only had the privilege to know Julie for a few years. We worked together for 5 years before we met at a football party & in talking realized we grew up in the same neighborhood!
We would meet in the hall here at work and enjoyed sharing about our childhoods, Vikings parties and friends.
I have been blessed to know Julie, she made me smile.
Thank you God, hold her close and bless her people with your abundant Love and Peace. In Christs name always.
