Kathleen "Kathy" ROSENBERGER

1948 - 2021

Age 72 of Shoreview Born December 19, 1948 in Minneapolis, Kathy died after a short battle with Leukemia April 29, 2021. Preceded in death by her parents, and beloved dog Cheech. She is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Jeremy (Adrienne) Stone and Erin (Rick) Stone, Ryan (Jen) Rosenberger, Tami (Vern) Rosenberger & Cash; grandchildren, Gabe, Kaleigh, Griffin, Brayden, Lucy & Josie. Kathy is also survived by 9 grandpuppies. Kathy retired from a 40+ year nursing career in 2018 where she specialized in mental health and pain rehabilitation. In nursing, as in all areas of Kathy's life, empathy and kindness were her driving motivation. She is remembered as someone who opened her home and her heart to her friends, her kids' friends, her husband's friends… you get the idea. Stray kids and stray animals were always welcomed inside, offered a snack and lent an ear. Her free time was spent reading, listening to music, and sharing time with the numerous friends she had collected over the years. Kathy spent hours at her second home in "Cheech's Woods" before a roaring fire, listening to stories and reminiscing with her closest friends and relatives. Special thanks to the nursing staff at United Hospital Unit 3300. Your kindness eased our pain through this difficult process. Thank you. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society. Visitation 3-7pm Monday, May 3 at BRADSHAW, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater and one hour prior to service the following day. Memorial service will be 12pm Tuesday, May 4.
