Sorry to hear about Keith's passing. I went high school with Keith and played football with him. I was a class behind Keith and I remember his gentle spirit and his natural leadership. He made me a better football player and more importantly a better person. Keith touched peoples lives in ways he never knew by being the humble caring person he was. I just found out today 3/17/19 of his passing. God has a gentle giant of a angel with him and all of us here on earth we're blessed to have known this giant of a man.

With deepest sympathy I send my regrets to Keith's family. I have known him since we were in 5th grade and tried to follow him as he achieved many goals and success's through the years. I still have a newspaper article from 1972 with him wearing his Varsity sweater with all his awards on his chest. He was a pleasure to know and always had that smile for all. He was always so kind and he didn't let his successes take over him. My last conversation was with him at Mr. Richendollar's retirement at Van Buren Park and it was so good to see him. I unfortunately didn't hear about the memorial in August for him, but wish I could of been there. To me he was a great man and great symbol for our town of Belleville. Take pride for he was a really good man. He will be missed but always remembered. Rest well Keith.

With my deepest Sympathy. I was a teammate and friend of Keith's at the U of M. My cousin, Scott Turitto also knew Keith well as many Gopher football players would frequent "Turitto's Pizza" after the home games on Saturday's. Keith was very special to the many people knew him as well as the countless people who's lives benefited simply from knowing Keith Simons. Rest in peace.

Keith was one of the first people that I worked closely with when I first started at Twin Cities RISEis as an administrative assistant in St Paul. He told me to own my position and said that I made it my own. He encouraged me in most of the things that I wanted to do and was always willing to help or offer advice. I will be forever grateful to have known him. He will be truly missed and my condolences and prayers go out to his family.
