Vicki and family,
Our deepest condolences on Larry's passing. The years working with Larry at King Plant were some of the best. Larry wasn't just a co-worker, he was a real mentor and never made you feel less than a good friend. Those memories will never fade from me, as I'm sure the countless memories you all have will never be lost as well. Take comfort in knowing Larry really was one of the good ones.

I will always remember taking care of Larry. He was smart, funny, caring, and was head over heels for his wife Vicki! I will always remember sitting with him and watching his favorite show "icetruckers" or talking about the humongous fish mounted on his wall. I will always remember Larry, he was a special man! Love ya mr.day!

Vicki,
Larry and I worked together for many years and he always had wonderful loving stories to tell about you and the kids.
I remember one in particular about a trip to Florida when Mike had just gotten his drivers permit. While the rest of the family slept in the back seat, he thought he´d give Mike a chance to get a little driving experience. Only to fall asleep himself and wake up to the Suburban on cruise control with Mike´s feet on the dash! In Larry´s telling of this story he calmly told him " put your feet on the floor and hands back on the wheel."
It was this kind of patient levelheadedness that served him well in his years at the King Plant. Larry never panicked in a crisis and always calmly figured out what to do. His leadership on "several occasions" saved others from injury and prevented damage to the equipment. He was truly kind and treated everyone fairly and with respect but was also capable of a few good pranks!!!
I am heartbroken for you and your family to have lost him at such a young age. My deepest sympathy to you, the kids and your grandchildren. He was so proud of all of you. May happy memories bring you peace.
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, Mary Clare
