Ginny and Family.... We grieve for Larry's loss, all of us, I think, because he was the ultimate friend, flying mate, husband, father and grandfather. Karol and I remember him with great fondness. He will be gladly welcomed and do well in heaven, with our Father. God will Bless You, Larry, forever. We, on earth, will remember you, always.

Our deepest sympathies to the entire Amelse family on Larry's passing. While I did not know Larry, I have got to know Tony well working with him at CSB/SJU, and he is a wonderful man who I'm sure is a direct reflection of how great of a man Larry was. God's peace and comfort to you all.

We are stunned to hear of the passing of yet another of our group of Marine and Naval brothers. It is not unexpected as our ranks continue to thin, but still difficult to accept. Our thoughts are with Ginny and all of Larry's family as they are the ones who will miss his everyday presence. We all however share in their grief -

Never leave a wing man behind! I worked for NWA from 1992-2007. I was there in 1999 to see him guide that DC 10 in. Flying non rev back in those days was flying blind. You didn't make the flight, you were running to the pay phone just to get rolled over. One of the stories Steve told me. Larry's DC 10 wasn't full! We were the on time airline. That DC 10 wasn't moving until every non rev, every employee was on! Never leave your wingman, never leave anyone behind! One of the greatest stories in NWA history!

Sending our deepest sympathy to you, Ginny, and your family. Thinking of you and remembering our annual brat fest together with both of you and Fran and Maureen in Sarasota every year. So many great memories beginning with Medjugorje. It was there that Ginny and I discovered we were both nurses and endured a year apart from our husbands while they served in Vietnam. Tim enjoyed learning that Larry was a pilot so they could "talk pilot" together. We laughed together and prayed together including a visit to the LaCrosse Shrine and, sadly, funerals in Minnesota. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Larry is now soaring the clouds of heaven. We are certain he and Fran are having some very lively discussions. May you find peace in your loving memories. It has been an honor to know you both.

Oh my gosh. Ginny and I sang in the choir for many years together on Sundays. Then I'd have a discussion with Larry about yep, The Packers and who was going to win or lose that day. I'm here if you need ANYTHING GINNY and I'll be thinking of you Larry every time I watch the Packers, OK maybe I will watch them. I will miss taking care of you at Outback as well. Rest with God my friend.
