Mabel Brown Obituary

Brown - Mabel K., age 91, died Feb. 15th after a short hospital stay. She was born Nov. 10, 1910 in NY, but lived the last 60 years in MN in Bloomington, Apple Valley & the Northfield area. She was married for over 50 years to Ray Brown who preceded her in death. She also survived the death of a son, William; her sister, Kay Harms; and her brother-in-law, Ted Harms. Her survivors are daughter, Marian Brown; son, Robert & spouse, Nancy, of Apple Valley; and son, Richard & his spouse, Greta Berg of St. Paul; 3 grandchildren, Jan Brule & husband, Robert, Daniel Brown & wife, Julie, Paul Brown & wife, Lesley, all of Dakota County. There are 7 great-grandchildren: Cory & Kelsey Brule, Rebekah & Leah Brown, & Malorie, Lindsay & Christopher Brown. She was active in 4H, garden clubs & the Republican Party. She had joined her husband in many aviation activities such as the Experimental Aircraft Association. She was a Unitarian-Universalist. There will be a memorial service held on Wed.
