Marjorie Mae Heldstab Stender

Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Age 95 of Oakdale (formerly of White Bear Lake & Cumberland, WI). Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Carl; parents Herman & Tillie; sisters Shirley & Mildred. Survived by sister Geneva; sons Bruce (Kaye Lee) of Duluth & Tom (Kate) of White Bear Lake; grandchildren Michael, Laura (Brad), Tom (Mimi), Kathy (Bob), Jeff (Debra) & Jennifer (John); great grandchildren JB, Bailey, Marjorie Cici, Kate, Will, Olivia, Grace & Kaitlyn; special niece Diane; and many close friends who Marge cherished and loved. Graduate of Cumberland (WI) High School and Platteville State Teachers College. Marge was the Cumberland Grade School Ski Champion in 1929. She taught third and fourth grade in Cumberland during WWII. Moved to White Bear in 1956 and was Carl's & Tom's business partner for twenty one years. Together with Carl, she was an active member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church and enjoyed tennis, golf, bridge and all the close friends they met. Marge's zest for life will be celebrated on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM at GUARDIAN ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8260 - 4th St. N, Oakdale. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
