Matthew Ferber Obituary

Ferber, Matthew Arthur - Of Eagan 1960 - 2002 Matthew Arthur Ferber, beloved son of Daniel and Dorothy (Reasoner) Ferber, died suddenly Thursday morning, December 12, 2002, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. Ferber, age 42, was the grandson of Herman and Eva (Eckert) Ferber and Floyd and Dorothy (Bowman) Reasoner, all of Fort Wayne, IN. After attending St. Paul Academy, Mr. Ferber graduated from Highland Park High School. Following this, he earned a baccalaureate degree in communication from Hamline University and later studied videography at the former School of Communication Arts, earning an associate degree. Mr. Ferber was active in two professions; as a service coordinator with Cenneidigh, Inc., and as owner of Ferber Video Services, which he founded in 1990. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Susan (Rolfe) Ferber of Eagan; two nephews, Shawn and Christopher Ferber, also of Eagan; an aunt, Suzanne (Reasoner) Varisco of Newport, RI; cousins, Mary (Varisco) Seidner of Old Lyme, CT, Susan Varisco of Brooklyn, NY, and Paul Varisco of Truckee, CA; and many friends. The family will receive visitors at Joseph S. Klecatsky and Sons Funeral Home, 1580 Century Point (corner of Yankee Doodle and Coachman Roads), Eagan, MN, on Tuesday, December 17, between 10:00 and 11:00 am, and funeral services will follow at 11 am.
