I met Maureen when we were both parents at Jackson School. Our boys were friends. I remember spending time at her house on a Friday night - she told me that was "leftover night". Friday night meals were very simple. I thought that was a great idea!
She was one of the most proud and dedicated mothers I have ever met. I was very sad to hear about her death. My condolences to the family.

Our thoughts are with Maureen's family and all those that knew and loved her. She shared her challenges with me the last two times I was with her. It's true, there is too often no fairness in this life. Yet her love remains and will always be with you.

I will always remember talking to Maureen on Peggy's(Mom's}Memorial Day in St. Cloud. The conversation was too short, and so to her life. I'll say plenty of prayers for her . . .Love to all the King Family. Daniel McConnell

I will be praying for you all in these difficult days. Maureen always was special to my mom because she was Maureen's godchild. My siblings and I so much appreciated seeing Maureen's support for us at my mom's burial this past March. May our prayers give her peace and you all the strength to accept the pain of your loss.

Joshua, Erin and Megan,
I went to St. Lukes, Brady and Inver Hills with your mom. We stayed in contact over the years, but more regularily the last few. Your mom and I became fast friends when we went to Brady. We were sent "across town" to school and our friendship blossomed. I will always remember her laugh, I loved her giggle.
Your mom was very proud of you. She always spoke of you with a smile on her face.
Your mom is now with our Lord. She has been reunited with her parents. With her mom who she has missed so much. She is your angel now, always at your side.
I know it will be hard for you in the weeks to come. Your mom though will forever be in your hearts.
To the King family, please accept my condolences.
You are all in my thoughts and my prayers.
