I'm so sorry to discover Mike passed away. I was an intern for him in Washington D.C., and I'll forever be grateful for all he taught me. As a novice reporter, he looked for ways to give me opportunities and introduce me to people on the Hill. He had so much integrity, and whenever we have a boss or mentor like Mike in our lives, it is something we treasure for a lifetime. My deepest condolences to the family. Mike will not be forgotten.

Mike was the best. Shared many great conversations and laughs with Mike over the years, especially in Duluth for Bluesfest with his brother Jim, a lifelong friend, in the late 90s. Fantastic times I will never forget. RIP Mike.
