No matter how much time passes you never forget the people who touch your life. Mike, you touched my life from day one. You were always there for me when I needed you and I will never forget that. I know its been awhile since we've spoke but I must say I have yet to meet anyone like you. You are a very special person with a great big heart and I will never forget you. May you rest in peace.

well my son, the memorial is over and flowers are here and so are you, so many peole came to say good bye and how much they loved you. this still don't seem real, i walk by your picture and say hey mick and wait for an answer i say bye when i leave, hey mom is still mom.. i miss you son and that no one can ever take from me, i know your proubly laughing at me right now but oh well! i miss you honey, alot so does bri,bri. all she does is tell us what daddy would do if...yep mick you live on with all of us, we were just talking about bris sleep over when her and hayley polished your nails while you were sleeping one night honey that was funny! anyways baby hope your up in heaven having a blast with all your relitives..we love you mick make no mistake.

Mike, you know I've always loved you. I don't think I'll ever be able to stop looking for your car parked in the back of caribou waiting to meet me for coffee. I'll always hear you calling me "boo" and me, mom, Bri and Amber would all respond not knowing which one of us you were talking to. I'll always think of you everytime I listen to Slipknot or Mushroomhead or Staind or any of your other favorite bands. I'll always remember you waking up in the middle of the night wanting milk and cookies. I'll always remember sitting in the garage drinking coffee and admiring the engine we put in your truck. I'll always remember watching every episode of the sopranos together. I'll always remember watching wrestling together. I'll always remember going to Embers and you'd order two hamburger plates to yourself. I'll always remember how everytime we went to Target we ended up in the toy car aisle looking for a hot weels car that you didn't already have. I'll always remember the look of pride you had on your face while watching Bri run the bases at her t-ball games. You may no longer be on this earth but those memories and a hundred million more will be with me forever. I miss you Mike.

We knew Mikey (could never call him Mike) for a number of years and he was one of a kind. We always referred to him as a Teddy Bear. We will always remember his grin when he realized we were teasing him or pulling his leg. He was such a special person and loved his daughter more than anything in the world. He would do anything for her. He was a friend and we will miss him.

Michael-the news of your death last Thursday left Elliott and I very sad and grieving for the loss of your presence.I will always recall how you helped make Elliott and I feel welcome at Darryl and Cheryl's family gatherings. In any lull a person could plop down in their family room and generally find you there,capable of socializing and interested in getting to know us.I agree, if Brianna was there, she would be hugging your knee. Your hugs will stay with her forever. We mourn our loss of one of Elliott's three paternal cousins and doubt that anyone could or ever will replace you. Please know from up there that people cared about you.

"Mikey"~
If I had the chance to tell you it today; I would tell you that in the lives of many people you were the "one". The "one" that we always knew was going to 'hold it together', or 'put it down' if the need was there. Throughout my impressionable years, Mikey you were the big brother to many of us youngsters. You were always there looking out for what was best when we were typically looking for trouble. When Mikey was around, as he typically was, few would dare to step out of line. Mikey was a big guy, and many were intimidated by this, okay, most all of us...but it wasn't his size that kept us in check. Nope, it was his moral. His expectation that we do the right thing.
I remember listening to Mikey go on and on and on and on some more with his lecturing and mentoring to not only me, but many of my chums. I will remember this most. This was the lasting impression that he offered to me in early adolescence that has withstood the test of time into adulthood. Mikey you were a good man! Your wisdom, morality, perseverance, sincerity, humor, dedication to your family and friends will all be remembered for years and years to come. Your spirit lives on in the hearts and characters of those that you touched.
May you rest in eternal peace.

Mike truly was a special person. He was a big guy with an even bigger heart. I've never met anyone as loyal, loving, and caring as him. I remember Mike as a tough guy with a big soft squishy interior. He wanted the world to think he was mean....he didn't have anybody close to him fooled. It was easy to see how much he loved you all. That's why I know he is watching over you now, he lives in each of your hearts and will walk with you through the remainder of your journey on earth. Guiding you, loving you and laughing with you. He would want you to remember the good times and laugh, not cry. Hold his memory close, and lean on each other. I wish there was more I could do for you. I am praying that you can fine some peace. Mikey was such a awesome father to Bri. I always admired him for that and how loving he was with her. He was also a very caring brother to my husband, Adam.
