Michael James YOUNG

Beloved Son, Brother, Grandson and Friend Age 30; of Rosemount, passed away unexpectedly on October 27th, 2021. He was an energetic, charismatic, and smart man. He enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting/shooting, hiking and camping, and spending time at his cabin. He was an avid member of 4-H throughout his early life, and was a Key Award recipient. He participated in swimming and tennis during high school, and played trumpet in the high school band. He graduated from Rosemount High School (2010) and went on to achieve a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Minnesota-Duluth (2015). He would light up any room with his unforgettable smile and sense of humor. He was a compassionate and caring individual and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Jacqueline and James; his siblings, Melissa (Nathan) Doyle and Angela; girlfriend Cara Rutkowski; his maternal grandparents, Clarice and James Hansen; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Robert and Dolores Young. Memorial Mass 11 AM Saturday, November 13th at the Church of St. Thomas Becket, 4455 So. Robert Tr., Eagan. Gathering of Friends 5:30 – 8 PM Friday at Klecatsky & Sons Eagan Chapel, 1580 Century Pt., Eagan; and 1 hour prior to the Mass at church.
