Mitchell Wichser Obituary

Wichser, Mitchell E., Sr. Age 46 Of Cottage Grove After a courageous battle with cancer on December 15, 2008. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter Wichser, Sr., and Thad (Rose Ellen) Krier. Survived by his sons, Mitchell Wichser Jr., Walter Jacob Wichser; their mother and friend Jodi (Steve) Davis; grand-daughter Haylie; father Walter (Patricia) Wichser Jr.; grandmother Rose Wichser; a very special uncle Michael (Patti) Krier; and many other family and friends. Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2008, at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park with visitation 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Mitchell was a retired U.S. Postal Clerk after 22 years of service. A special thank you to HealthEast Cancer Care, Dr. Kevin Mulvey, Dr. Jeffery Nelson, Karen Wilcox R.N., and staff for their loving care. 651.459.2875

I just learned of Mitch's passing. I remember him from Jr. High School. We hung around a lot back then. It's amazing how many years go by without seeing old friends yet still such fond memories. I'm sure it's been a hard year. Continue to grieve freely for it can be healing. He will always be in your hearts, even though he isn't here in the physical presence. Please accept my condolences. I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am about Mitch. I have very good memories of him, he was so much fun to be around. That wicked sense of humor will always stick in my mind. I know how much he adored you Pat and Walt and how much he loved his kids. I was lucky to know him. Please know that you are in my prayers and that we are thinking about you.
