Nancy Moe BERGERON

1935 - 2021

Age 86 of Shoreview Passed peacefully into the hands of God, November 13, 2021 shortly after a diagnosis of cancer. Nancy was born July 1, 1935 in Cincinnati, OH, and spent most of her youth growing up in Chisago City, and Forest Lake, MN. After graduating from Forest Lake HS, and spending a year at the U of M, she married Donald Moe, and moved to Cottage Grove MN. While the relationship did not last, four children were born from their union. Nancy enjoyed a career with Ramsey County Human Services, made life-long friends, and retired in 1997. Not long after that, she met the love of her life, William (Bill) Bergeron, whom she married in 2001. Together, they enjoyed family and friends, riding motorcycles and bicycles, traveling, X-country skiing, volunteering, and being active together. After Bill's passing, she moved to Summerhouse in Shoreview, enjoying new friends and activities. Nancy is preceded in death by father Ernest Lakamp; mother Treva Lakamp; step-mom Bette Lakamp; sister Marilyn Lambert; and second husband William Bergeron. She is survived by sister Barbara Harden; children Cheri (Scott) Howe, Linda Farnell, Don (Christine) Moe, and Pam (David) Mills; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; the Bergeron step-family of 9 adult children, 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grand children, and 2 great-great-grand children; and many other beloved family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Regions Hospital, and Our Lady of Peace for their care and compassion. A celebration of her life will take place on July 2, 11 am at Kathryn Abbott Park, Mahtomedi; lunch to follow.
