Nicky poo I still think of you often. You were certainly were one of a kind. A memory from your memorial service that I remember the most is the story about you teaching your dad how to prance like a tiger or something similar. We all got a pretty good laugh out of that signature Nick antic. I know I’ll see you again someday and I feel you are watching over all of those you cared for.

Nick always liked to go to the Zywieks Nursery for plants. Father's Day was no exception. He took me there and treated me to some of my favorite plants. What a thoughtful, nice, kind person he was. A good son who I miss deeply. God bless you Nicholas!! I love you now and forever!!! Love, Dad

I met Nick when visiting Minneapolis many years ago. He was still in high school and living at home. I remember Nick had a happy spirit and a ready smile. He was a beautiful boy. Our hearts go out to you.

I have so many memories of Nick in high school. We did a tremendous amount of activities together through theatre and show choir. He was always making people laugh and could make friends instantly with anyone. I've thought about his special spirit a lot over the years and know it will be missed by many.

Nick was my student in Physics in at Totino-Grace and tho he loved music and the humanities best, he was always so enthusiastic and loved learning about the physical world and how things work. Totally out of the blue, he returned from his school trip to Poland and brought me an amber necklace as a souvenir. Nick and I were apartment neighbors years ago when I lived in Hastings, I have always believed love makes a family- Nick was more than part of ours. My daughter and I shared many meals, laughs and moments with Nick. As a single mom I rely on my community members for help and support maybe more than others.. Nick always gave what he had, maybe more. To date- the "special toy" around my house is a creative playthings building set Nick had given me, said his mom found it at a garage/rummage sale for Emma, then 4yrs. This was just one instance of the thoughtful kindness he brought to my life. My heart is with you all. Love you Nick.

I can't even put into words how my heart is broken!!
Nicholas meant the world to me, we've known each other for almost 18 years and had some wonderful moments together, that I will cherish and remember fondly always. My heart and love go out in every way to the Crowder family, friends, and loved ones. He had an incredibly gentle soul and a beautiful spirit. As far as I'm concerned, the world has lost a little bit of it's shine without him here. I miss and love you always my friend!!!

Crowder Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Nick's passing. I was with him for 3 hours last Thursday evening and he was so happy and full of life that it is hard to believe he is gone. He promised me a haircut, but it will have to wait until I get to Heaven where he he is now.

I just learned of this news this morning. I am at a loss of words to adequately express my feelings of sympathy to each of you. Nick holds a unique place in my heart. I believe it was our junior year at TG, and it was truly inspiring and heartfelt each time Nick took center stage during a Company performance and sang the first verse of, "Bring Him Home," from Les Mis. Truly talented and so many memories of 4 years spent together. "Let him rest, heaven blessed!" Many thoughts and prayers got out to Gabe and Mr. and Mrs. Crowder.

Crowder Family-
I just met Nick about three weeks ago, right away we clicked, we hung out and talked almost every day since we swapped numbers! I am extremely shocked and saddened by his passing. He was so happy and so funny! There was never a time I didn't have a smile on my face when we were together. Nick was also very caring, it was the little things he did that really let me see into his heart and I could tell right away he was a great person. -While hanging out with him I slipped on the snow and ice, I couldn't get up (didn't help being 28 weeks pregnant!!)! Every time I tried to get up I just kept slipping! Nick picked up my purse and everything that spilled out, and then grabbed me and helped me up. I am praying for your family, and I've prayed to Nick. He will always have a special place in my heart.

I am very sorry to hear of Nick's passing. Nick and I attended Highview Jr. High and Totino-Grace together. We sat next to one another during homeroom Sophomore year. He was always so nice and thoughtful. I will always remember the piano solo he performed during our Senior year talent show. He is and will be missed.

Nick and I were one of 4 (if I remember correctly) to go from Highview to TG together.
