Paul JOHNSON Obituary

Age 60, of St. Paul Passed away peacefully January 7, 2024 A gifted athlete, Paul excelled in many sports, including swimming, basketball, golf, track, and hockey. He participated in the Special Olympics for many years, and was a Gold Medalist. For work, Paul dedicated 25 years to Midwest Special Services. Boy Scouts were another passion of his. He also traveled every year on vacation with Search Beyond Adventures. Paul will be remembered for his kindness, big heart, and adventurous spirit. Preceded in death by parents, Gordon Johnson and Alma (née May); and brother, James Johnson. He is survived by brothers, Douglas, Gary, Craig Johnson; foster dad of 34 years, Dennis Morgan; along with close friends and roommates, Michael Lee, Kevin Tommet, and Kyle Andera. Donations may be made in Paul's memory to his Special Olympics Team, The Roseville Flames https://specialolympicsminnesota.org/get-involved/ways-to-donate/ Funeral Mass at 11AM, on Thursday, January 18, at St. Stanislaus Church (398 W. Superior St.). Visitation one hour prior. Reception downstairs to follow Mass. 651-767-9333
