Barbara and family,

As one who practiced law with Richard, he will be remembered as a good friend, mentor, and an excellent storyteller. He possessed an excellent legal mind. More than once, he would advise as to the best solution to a legal problem. His generosity was spontaneous and limitless. When I think of the days of practicing law with the law firm that bore his name, I think of Richard. He will be remembered.

Hello Aretz Family,

So sorry to have missed your dad's visitation. I have many fond memories of our days on Woodlawn--summer evenings playing "Capture the Flag," "Moonlight, Starlight," and baseball in the street. I also remember times at your lake place in Siren. Please accept my condolences and know that your father and all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

You have our deepest thoughts and prayers. It is difficult for us to understand or even comprehend the loss faced by you and indeed it is hard for us to console you. But this is the time when in death, we realize the significance of life and in loss we realize the importance of our valuable dear ones. So lets embrace each other, push forward and go on together. We love you and are there for you in any way you need us.

Love,

Aretz Family - I can't believe my dad was just talking about your dad yesterday and just last week looking at old home movies. What fun times we had going way, way (way) back with all you girls and your poor brother (just like mine) the sole male with all us vivacious siblings. Your dad & mom partying with my dad and mom and all their other raucous friends. Truly some good, good times. Such a loss, but what great memories. And the picture you've chosen here - the epitome of your dad with his handsome, twinkling smile. Prayers and many, many good thoughts to all of you........
