Richard F. MCMAHON

Of Maplewood, MN Passed away peacefully on Thurs. June 8th at age 92. He grew up in Huron, SD & graduated from South Dakota State before eventually moving to St. Paul where he met his wife, Elizabeth (Primoli) McMahon. They were married for over 63 years, living much of that time in St. Paul raising 4 children. He was the family patriarch that also included many grand & great-grandchildren. Richard enjoyed a long & successful career with Unisys, retiring in 1990. Over his retirement years, he & Elizabeth traveled to Italy. He was an avid reader, he loved driving his "pride and joy" 1991 Chrysler New Yorker & he was also strong in his Catholic faith. Throughout his life he served as an outstanding example to his family & friends. He was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey & is survived by his children David McMahon, Thomas McMahon & Jodi (Doug) MacCallum; grandchildren Sean (Maggie), Elise, Noelle, & Collette McMahon, Rachel Evenson, & Jenna (Matt) Yanchek; plus great-grandchildren Maria & Edith McMahon. Visitation will be on Fri, June 16th from 5-8 pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade St. in St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am on Sat, June 17th at St. Pius X Catholic Church in White Bear Lake, with lunch to follow. Memorials are preferred to St. Pius X Catholic Church.
