So sorry for your loss. Working with Dick many years ago was a pleasure. He was the one who gave me the nick name of "Sunshine" that I still use.

I didn't know your dad, but attended 5:30 pm mass with him on Thursdays at St Rita's. He always sat in the back row of the chapel and I noticed how he wasn't there tonight and wondered where he may have been. It saddens me that I didn't get to know him better before his passing. If we reached the aisle at the same time to exit the chapel, he'd always insist I go ahead of him. I believe it was last week or maybe the week before that he was waiting for his ride so he smiled as I approached him. I told him to have a wonderful evening. He told me the same in his ever so calming voice. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. God bless

Pat, Cathy & Family- so sorry to hear about your dad's death. I never met him but heard good things about him and know what a good man and father he was. Sending my thoughts & prayers to all.

Family of Dick: I was a neighbor right across the hall from your Dad. I have only been a resident of Norris Square for 10 months, Dick was the sweetest and caring man that I have ever known, his handshake was always out to me. My husband is in the Memory Unit here at Norris Square and Dick always asked me how he was and he said he prayed for him. I will miss his smile and "Hello" each day. I am legally blind and don't drive, so I cannot come to the wake or church service, but you are all in my prayers.
God's Blessings,
