Dear Bossert Family,

You have been in my thoughts and prayers over the past few weeks. What a tragedy.

Bob and I worked together in Omaha many years ago. I will always remember him as a quiet, gentle young man. He was so proud of his family...parents, siblings, Lois, Scott. There was much love there.

I will continue to keep you in my thoughts during these difficult days.

God bless you,

Sharon Car

To the Bossert family,

I worked with Bob at U S WEST and have great memories of him. I can still hear his voice and see his "fantastic" smile. Bob had a way with making a person feel important. I feel blessed having the opportunity to know Bob.

Please know you are sent love and healing thoughts daily.

Dear Dorothy and Al,

My last visit to North Dakota was in 2002, when Martin and I travelled to Minnesota to stay with Tracy's family for some days. That's when we had such an enjoyable evening together with Bobby! We talked about some earlier times that we had seen him, and so many years had gone by since then! I was impressed with Bobby's softness, tranquility and friendliness. He enjoyed seen pictures of our family and he said, "I wished we had more time together while you were here!"

I was again reminded of the verse in Proverbs 27: 1 "Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth." We take so many things for granted and forget that we are here on earth for such a short time. One of the most important things that I have done is having the L-rd Jesus as my personal Savior and the assurance that "he that believeth on the Son has everlasting life ..." [John 3: 36]

I know you and all of us sense Bobby's loss in a very deep way!

May the consolation of the Ruach HaKodesh [the Holy Spirit] give you strength and victory at this trying time!

Shalom Alehem!

The Peace be upon you!

Dear Family of Bob Bossert,

I worked with Bob for many years at US West. He came out to my farm once to take pictures of my dogs for the company paper and he never failed to ask about them after that. How very kind of him to remember my pets after all that time! I am so sorry for your loss.

Bob will always have a special place in my heart. He was a valued colleague at US West, and I remember him fondly as a warm and caring individual. Always a smile, never a harsh word, even in tough times -- Bob had a rare quality of humanity, humility and grace. We mourn your loss, and ours.

What shocking news! When Bob and I worked together at US WEST, he was just a kid. Bob was one of the most dependable, hardest working people I've ever known. My sympathies to Lois and Scotty for such an untimely and devastating loss.

Dear Bossert family,

I am Edwin Evenrud's 7th son. I remember Bobby only from 1 or 2 visits maybe 39 years ago before my family went to Brazil. I remember a fantastic train set that I do not know whom it belonged to, but I know my older brothers had more contact with Bobby. My deepest sympathy and my prayers to all the family. May God comfort you.

Love Phil

My sympathies go out to Bob's entire family. I worked with Bob several years ago at U S WEST, and he was a joy to work with. He had a knack, a gift, for writing and photography - always showing a warm, humanistic style. He worked hard and helped out with the company's community projects whenever he could. He spoke highly of his family. We're losing a humble, kind, funny guy - a good soul.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Bob. I worked with Bob at Skyline, and he was a talented writer, with a wonderful understated sense of humor. He could make the most mundane story interesting. He was an excellent interviewer and had a knack for getting to the key facts of a story or case history. He was a kind and gentle man, a good friend and co-worker, who never had a bad word or unkind thought. I will miss him. My deepest condolences to Bob's family.

Dear Lois, Scott & Family:

I was saddened to hear of the loss of your husband and father. May your faith, family, friends and fond memories help you through this difficult time. I have some fond memories of Bob and I in high school at Ryan High back in the late 1960's. What a genuine good guy he was. I will keep you and Bob in my prayers and hope that you will celebrate his life with the rest of his "faith family". Also, I would like to say hello to classmate Patty Bossert from the "Class of 1970". Our condolences to her as well. Take Care. Randy & Pat Burckhard
