As a young editor right out of college in the last few years of Bob's tenure at the helm of the Webb Company, I found Bob to be a friendly, pleasant, and concerned CEO. Although the company expanded mightily under his direction, it still remained a "homey" place to work, due largely, I think, to his own personality and character. I'll always appreciate his kindness and leadership.

Bob had great impact on our young married life when we came to work for Webb at age 23 as an editor, and his example served me throughout our business and personal life. Bob took special interest in everyone on Webb staff. I was lucky to have encountered he and Clyde again as we retired to Arizona. We'll miss them.

Bob Haugen was at the helm during the years I worked for The Webb Company. He was a giant in that company as well as the community and my idol from the day I met him in mid 1974. Mr. Haugen will be sorely missed.

Bob was a great friend to Courage Center serving on both the boards of Courage Center and Courage Foundation. He was faithful in his service and we were lucky to have his involvement. All of us who served with him are grateful for his life and service.

We very much enjoyed our associations with Bob in the Masonic Cancer Center Fund Board of Directors for many years. He was a great asset to the fund and an inspiration to all of us.
