Robert Lewis "Bob" KLEGIN

1929 - 2022

Former West St. Paul Fire Captain Age 93 of Inver Grove Heights Born June 24th 1929, died on November 14, 2022. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Helen & Arthur Klegin; brother, Kenny; and sister, Eileen. Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Audrey; daughters, Cheryl (John) Wilson, Donna (Brian) Eull, and Barb (Tricia Gilbert) Klegin; grandchildren, Megan (Mike), Brenna (Chris), Brianna (Ryan), Andrew (Cyre), and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Riley and Henry; and many nieces and nephews. Bob was a paramedic and fire fighter for West St. Paul, for 28 years and retired as a Captain. He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to hunt and fish. Bob was a wood carver, an amateur inventor, a jokester, and he always had a peppermint in his pocket and a smile or a whistle on his lips. Bob was a devoted husband, a loving dad, grandfather, and uncle and will be missed by all. Celebration of Life 11AM Saturday, Nov. 19th at SALEM LUTHERAN CHURCH, 11 W. Bernard St. @ Hall Ave. in West St. Paul. Visitation 3-7PM Friday, Nov. 18th at KLECATSKY & SONS WEST CHAPEL, 1051 So. Robert St. @ Arion in West St. Paul and also 1 hr. prior to the Celebration at church on Saturday. Interment Riverview Cemetery in St. Paul.
