I worked with sandee for the last
20 years, and I never knew a nicer and
caring person then her. she always wanted to know how I was and was always
up for a quick chat. I will miss coming in
to work as I roll by her desk In my power wheel chair and hear her say "SLOW DOWN "
My thoughts are with her family as we all
remember all the good times. rest in peace
until we meet again.

My deepest and heartful condolences to Sandee'S Artie and family. While I worked at the Children'S Museum and after I left, Sandee was a beloved coworker and friend. She had such a wonderful magic about her. I will miss her long phone conversations and greeting cards covered with stickers.

What do I miss about Sandee? When I would walk in and say "good morning Sandee" and she would say "how you doing there Mark", Sharing Mom's baked goods with her, treating her to a Hershey bar"with" almonds, sharing how our weekends went and sharing bits of gossip, her open mindedness and all inclusiveness of all people, teaming up with Shawn to steal her beloved purple pen, teasing her seasonally with her Duck Dynasty bearded picture themed for the occasion, what do I miss most? Her friendship.Rest in peace beautiful lady.

During my 17 years of working with Sandee, she often reminded me that the ability to laugh and find humor in even the most trying situations was always the best approach. I miss her every day I walk into to the museum, and the world is a little less bright without her smiling eyes. Rest in peace, dear friend.

My sincere sympathies to Sandee's family! Sandee's mom and my mom were PTA friends at our grade school. Likewise, Sandee and I were friends who spent countless hours playing and laughing so hard we cried. She was a bright light to everyone who knew her. I am so sorry for your loss!!

Sandee was one of the great employees at Minnesota Children's Museum. She was smart, dedicated, and worked so well with all kinds of people from lost children who wandered into the office to our largest donors. When I introduced Sandee I always told folks, "Sandee is the one who really runs the place." And it was true--her long tenure gave her a great perspective and I always enjoyed hearing her ideas. The world spins a bit slower without Sandee in it. My deepest condolences to all the family at this unexpected loss. I am sorry I can't be with you on Saturday for the visitation. With deep sorrow, Sarah Caruso (former President of MCM)

Sandee will always be in my heart and I think of her often. It was complete intervention that I opened the Pioneer Press today and saw her obituary. I don't live in the St. Paul area anymore and very, very rarely see the Pioneer Press. Sandee touched many lives in her years at Minnesota Children's Museum and has always been a good friend to me. Twenty years later, every time I called MCM with a question or just to say hello, she knew my voice right away and we caught up on what was going on in everyone's lives. Rest in peace, Sandee. You will be greatly missed!
