Wow, I had just gotten reunited with Sari over the internet and we were going to try and see each other... I had waited to hear from her and I didn´t realize she had passed away.. I wished that I was able to see her as we had planned on meeting up with each other in person, But I had other plans during that time plus I didn´t and still don´t have my own car anymore due to $$$$ ... Now I feel guilty for not being able to see her when she was town... Sari was a great friend and she had helped me in I think it either Biology or Chemistry class she was like an interpreter cuz I didn´t have one for that class... But Sari was patient with me and helped me through with that class...I´ve spoken with her shortly before her passing and we were going to try to meet up... I´m going to miss her... I wished I could thanked her for helping me to get through in Chemistry Class... She had thanked me for helping her with Sign Language to improve her signing... I´m going to miss chatting with her online... Thank you Sari for being a great friend and for being there when I was struggling in class and for being a great friend.... I LOVE U SARI

I am at a loss for words. Sari and I were friends since the early 1980s when we both worked for KCRG in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Then life got in the way and we were never in the same state again. Fortunately, we had one of those friendships that could go for long periods with no communication, but then pick right back up as if no time had passed. When I think of Sari, my head is flooded with so many memories, so many good times. The last time I saw Sari was when she came to Illinois for my daughter´s wedding. She was so excited to be here, and it made my heart happy to see her so happy. Sari, my friend, I am really going to miss you, but I know we will meet again. With much love... Michele

Sari was a live wire! - she loved life and was a joy to be with, providing you did it Her way!
She has gone far too early but, unfortunately, it was the time for her. It was an honour to have known her.
RIP SIL
Love Jonathan.

You will forever by my Sari-Sis. Thank you for introducing me and my girls to the beautiful Brainerd-Lakes area, and for the years of friendship. The brightest stars always keep shining, even after they leave this realm. Thank you for being one of the stars in my life.

Sari was a compassionate and loving human being who gave far more to others than she ever got back. She was a voice in the IBD community when many of us had no voices. She was an animal lover especially her kitties. May God grant you the peace and health that you were deprived of here on earth.
