Shirley Ottmar Obituary

Ottmar, Shirley L. Cherished Friend, Wife and Mother Born in Cedar Falls, IA on June 24, 1932. Only child of Ralph & Florence Johnson. She met Chris while he was a student at nearby Wartburg College. They were married on August 26, 1951. They lived and worked in several midwest communities, including many years in St. Paul, MN. Most recently they lived in retirement in Osceola, WI, enjoying their many hobbies. Shirley is survived by her husband, Chris; children, Anthony (Lisa) Ottmar, Pamela Eggebraaten, & Kimberly (Tom) Wiggins; and grandchildren, Rachel, Brenna & Joshua. She passed away at Regions Hospital on Aug. 28, 2008 after suffering with several recent health problems. Her remains will be cremated. She preferred a private family prayer service. She wished people to remember and cherish her as they knew her. Memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church, Dresser, WI or the Polk Co. WI "Faith In Action" Program. 651-777-2600
