I know I wanted to write something a little sooner. But I thought I might be able to talk to you a little more at the service. I miss my mother every day having lost her at the age of 7. But I have many wonderful memories of your mom Donna when we were younger. She was a special person just like you. My thoughts and prayers have &

We are so sorry to have learned about your loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. My mother Lucille {Nielsen} Woodrey went to high school with Shirley and there are such fun stories of the two of them. Her spirit still lives on in our hearts!

My brother Dave Poechmann and "Shirley's Dave" have been close friends for many years. Shirley, consequently, was a dear friend of my mother, Joyce. I am grateful for the love Shirley gave to members of my family. My prayers go out to the members of Shirley's family. God lives! He loves us, and Shirley is being cradled in His embrace.

One of the earliest memories of my childhood was Shirley Mead, Shirley Shepard and Mom sitting at our kitchen table laughing and conspiring together. We had a storage unit where Shirley worked. We became friends with her and always tried to go on the days when she was working because we enjoyed visiting with her. I gave her a beanie baby and she was so sweet when we left to go on an extended trip. She presented us with 2 St. Christopher pieces to keep us safe. She was a warm, kind, funny lady and we will always remember her. God bless all of you.

This is to Shirley's family. Shirley. She was a nice neighbor. My boys liked talking to her. She always listened attentively to my oldest as he explained why he was collecting money, and asked him questions. At a food party that the neighborhood girls had she participated and added to our getting to know each other. We will miss her. We are so sad.
