Dear Pat, Fran and family,
Sorry I'm a late writer, I just heard the news. What a loss! He was always fun to work with a CAA, especially when we would "argue" over who had the best spouse. He sure loved his Pat! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To the Dierbergers: May God bless and comfort your entire family during this time of both mourning - and celebrating - your dad. I'm not sure how such a GEM of a man like Sid ended up with a bunch of characters like George, Bill, Fran & Tom, but God certainly blessed your family with a great role model and strong leadership with Sid. May each of you be comforted in seeing and feeling God's love for you through Sid's loving example.

Dierberger family, I knew Sid from St. Michael's Church. I'll remember Sid for the work, time and effort; he gave to the church and school. He helped the Scouts there, too. I admired his leadership qualities. He had a great giving heart. He was always a gentleman, and a good Christian man. It was a privilege to have known him. I offer my prayers and condolences to all of you.

Connie & family -
I am not sure if you even remember me, but strangely enough, I was thinking of you just yesterday, wondering what happened to you over the years. We were buddies back at the U of M many years ago. As I looked in the paper today and saw the death of your father, it seemed like I was supposed to read this obituary! I am so very sorry to hear of your Dad's death - I remember being at your home and know how much your family meant to you. I have never lost a parent, but having to let my little girl go to heaven before me a few years back, I know that losing someone so precious to you is very difficult. Life is never quite the "same" - it is forever changed, forever different, and forever incomplete. I wish you peaceful moments where God's faithful arms will comfort and strengthen you, while bringing healing and peace to your heart. Take care!

My condolences to all of you. Sid's perseverence and love of life and you all were obvious in his final challenge. May your memories of good times and the knowledge you will be reunited again bring you some comfort as you adjust to his absence from this life. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
