Steve STEINGRUEBL

Of Siren, WI Passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2021. Steve was a native of St. Paul, MN. He attended St. Therese Catholic Grade school and graduated from Cretin High School in 1967. After high school, Steve attended Metropolitan State University as well as St. Paul College/TVI. For 40 years, Steve proudly worked as an electrician for St. Paul's Local #110 Union. He was also a night school instructor at St. Paul College's JATC program. After retirement, Steve and his wife Linda moved to their lake home that they built from the ground up. He appreciated the outdoors and loved traveling the country with his wife and dogs. Steve showed his love and appreciation for others through home-cooked food and by helping family and friends with home projects. He enjoyed a good cigar as well as his annual Canadian fishing trip with his two life-long friends. But what Steve loved most was spending time with his grandchildren. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Donald, and mother, Mary Ann. Steve is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda and his five children, Kristin (Craig), Erin (Alesana Jr.), Devin (Brandon), Steven (Meg) and Laurin; 13 grandchildren, Grace, Emma, Sam, Kate, Alesana III, Olivia, Vae, Audrey, Caroline, Hazel, Brynn, Everett and Waylon; siblings, Janice (Richard) and Robert (Patricia) and many nieces and nephews. Gathering of friends and family 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, 651-228-1006, with the Celebration of Life at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following: MN Stroke Association, Our Lady of Peace Hospice, the Alzheimer's Association.
