Susan C. HELMS

Age 71, long time resident of Plymouth, MN, passed away peacefully on September 3rd, 2018 at Willows of Maple Grove. She was preceded in death by son Michael; parents Grant (doc) and Charlotte of West Concord, MN. Survived by her husband, Patrick; daughter, Kerry (Zach) Ness; son, Jeffrey Jordan; grandchildren Finn and Lucy Ness; brother, David (Linda) Olson; sister, Kay (Gary) Olson-Thomsen; and many nieces; nephews, other relatives and friends. Susan was a graduate of the U of M and worked many years as a social worker for Hennepin, Wright, and finally Ramsey Counties. She was a special person and friend who loved her work and her children, plus she was a great lover of all types of animals. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Sept. 29 at St Barnabas Lutheran Church, 15600 Old Rockford Rd, Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the International Rhino Foundation, which was one of Susan's favorite charities.
