MRS RAY I called you for over Thirty years ! I am so glad we had a loving relationship, you were my daughter's principle at Como Sr High School back in the early 90's and she was wonderful , very compassionate and understanding of all the students that where under her care. My daughter graduated with honors from Como and MRS Ray played a big part. She would always keep in touch with me on how my daughter was progressing not only as a student, but also as high achiever. I will miss her in church, she sit by my husband and I for over five years at Pilgrim Baptist Church in St Paul. So kind and sweet. We will miss you MRS Ray. Our sincere condolences over the death of MRS Ray.

Taurietta by all measures was a outstanding Math Teacher and a solid Principal that had a mind of her own. I always enjoyed working with her at Central H.S. and the other schools in St. Paul.

Ms. Ray
The best teacher! Mentor! Encourager! Supporter! Leader! She stood tall on the shoulders of those that went before us. She brought a smile to her students every day as she greeted us at her classroom door or as you passed her in the hallway at Central. It was always a joy seeing her later in my life as I would run into her at Como while out for a walk, or at Barnes and Noble in Rosedale. Ms. Ray always took time to stop and get caught up in my life and sharing the joys of grandchildren while still encouraging me to further my education. (" It is never too late." she would say.)
My prayers and condolences to her family and friends.

I first worked with Tauriette at Como High School and our paths crossed many times during my career in the SPPS district as an educator. She was sensitive, caring, a hard worker, thoughtful, a good listener and always professional. She will truly be missed.

This extraordinary Woman was my Principal at Como Park from 89-93... I remember that she was Fair, Fun and Firm, and at that age, it´s like she was a Mother at school helping us help ourselves in making the correct deduction in those hallways!!!
May God and our Ancestors welcome you with open arms into the Kingdom... See you when I get there. Your student

Tauriette and I were rookie teachers at Mechanic Arts in the 1960´s. Because the kids loved her so much, they loved math class. SPPS was a big winner when Tauriette came to town. What a Teacher! What a Lady!

Mrs. Ray's Family,
I am so shocked by the sudden passing of Mrs. Ray.
She was always so healthy and so full of energy.
I went to Mechanic Arts High School when she was a math teacher and I have seen her over the many years at Rainbow Foods and now Cub Foods on Larpentuer Ave.
A beautiful soul with alot of gold in her heart. I can only say that I am so sorry for your loss of your mother and grandmother. I know she is truly going to be missed.
May the Love of God grant you peace,
The love of Friends bring you comfort,
and the love of your dear one live forever in your heart.
Memories keep the one you loved close to you in spirit and thought,
And always in your heart
Today and Forever.
Thinking of you all with deepest sympathy and lots of Love.
My thoughts are with you always.
I would love to be at the services but I will be on Vacation and out of town. You have a very special angel now watching over you.
Rest in peace Mrs. Ray
